As the curtain closes on another wonderful year at FHK Music School, our hearts are filled with gratitude for our amazing school community.
To our fabulous students – you continue to amaze us with your dedication, passion, and musical growth. Watching you take the stage, whether at our festive Christmas concert or the grand end-of-year performance, brings us such immense joy. Your talent and commitment inspire us every single day.
To our devoted parents and guardians – thank you for entrusting us with the musical education of your children. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and willingness to go the extra mile mean the world to us. Our school simply wouldn’t be the same without your involvement.
And to our extraordinary faculty – your expertise, patience, and genuine care for each student are truly the heart and soul of FHK Music School. Your tireless efforts to shape the next generation of musicians are a gift that we cherish dearly.
This year, our annual charity concert was a resounding success, with all proceeds going to support the vital work of the Mayaa Charity. Mayaa is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities and resources to underprivileged children in Nepal and Hong Kong. They finance their school, their medical needs, help their whole families who have absolutely nothing to improve their lives…Through your enthusiastic participation at June 8th concert, we were able to finance the education and medical needs of 7 more children in Mayaa’s care for a full year, bringing our total to 24 students whose lives have been transformed by the power of learning within our music school since its creation in September 2021.
Do not hesitate to go visit Mayaa’s website to read about what they do and how they change so many children’s lives. You can also sponsor a child’s yearly education and medical fees yourself and you will receive yearly letters to hear about his / her progress. It’s really a beautiful thing to do, for “only” 2000HKD /year. You can read more about it on this link.
The joy and pride that radiated from the stage during both our Christmas and end-of-year performances were a testament to the transformative power of music and the difference we can make when we come together as a community. To each and every member of the FHK Music School family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.
As we look ahead to the new year, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for the musical wonders that await us. Thank you for being a part of this incredible community, and we cannot wait to continue creating beautiful music and making a difference in the lives of others.
