Starting in September 2024, FHK Music is excited to continue its commitment to nurturing musical talent through a unique 3-pillar teaching approach in Hong Kong. This method combines private instruction, collaborative group activities, and live performance opportunities, creating a comprehensive learning experience that fosters both skill and confidence in our students.
At the heart of our approach is personalized guidance from qualified private tutors. These dedicated instrument and vocal teachers tailor lessons to meet each student’s individual needs, ensuring that they receive the focused attention necessary for skill development. Whether a beginner or an advanced player, students benefit from one-on-one sessions that address their specific goals and challenges.
Learning music is not just about individual practice; it’s about community. Our collaborative group activities promote motivation and fun, helping students to connect with their peers. These sessions encourage teamwork and creativity, allowing students to share their passion for music while learning from one another. This interactive environment enhances their overall learning experience and fosters lasting friendships. Several options are offered:
– 2 to 5 year old: music induction
– 6 to 8 year old: ukulele & singing classes
– 6 to 14 year old: pop choir groups for all our singing lover students
– 7 to 14 year old: music theory & history group classes (compulsory for classical instrument students)
– 10 to 16+ year old : pop rock bands
To truly grow as musicians, students need to experience the thrill of performing. FHK Music offers numerous opportunities for students to showcase their talents in live performances. These events not only build self-confidence but also help students learn to handle the pressures of performing in front of an audience. The joy and pride that come from sharing their music are invaluable components of their educational journey. Save the date !! Next concert will be on December 7th (morning and early afternoon)
When registering at FHK Music, we recommend that students take advantage of the full spectrum of offerings. By booking a private lesson, joining a group activity, and participating in our student concerts, they can immerse themselves in the complete music school experience. This comprehensive approach has proven effective in driving solid student progress and commitment.
We believe that a well-rounded education in music includes a strong foundation in music theory and history. Therefore, our group classes in these subjects are compulsory for all classical instrument students and French-speaking students aged 7 to 14 in Stanley and TKO/Clearwater Bay. We are also excited to announce that classes in English in Stanley, and in French in Wan Chai may be available starting in January, expanding our offerings to an even wider audience.
