Are you a student at FHK Music? Do you play the piano, guitar, violin, cello, ukulele, flute, saxophone, or drums? Do you sing or play in a band? If so, get ready for a mysterious and fun contest made just for you! Following the incredible success of our last year’s edition, which showcased the talent of over 150 anonymous candidates, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the March 2026 edition of our renowned anonymous video contest!

How to Participate

1. Choose a Piece:
Select a song you love to perform and practice it with your teacher until you know it perfectly.

2. Submit Your Video:
Send us your performance video via WhatsApp between March 1 and March 31.

Video Requirements

• Engaging Introduction: Start with a fun introduction of your piece (title, composer) before performing.
• Anonymity: Keep it anonymous! Wear a mask and a costume that fits your piece. For example, if you play a Harry Potter piece, wear a witch’s hat. Go all out for the “Best Costume” trophy!
• Video Duration: Your video should be between 1 and 3 minutes.
• Show Your Hands: For instrumentalists, your hands must be visible in the video!

Judging

• Videos will be posted on our Instagram with candidate numbers (no names).
• Our enthusiastic jury, including five experienced FHK Music teachers will analyze all submissions before April 15th.
• Results will be announced mid-April, with categories such as Best Piano (1st year, 2nd year, etc.), Best Violin, Best Technique, Best Costume, Best Duet, Best Band, and Best Musicality. There will be many trophies up for grabs!

Prizes

Category winners will receive a trophy during the concert on June 7th. First, Second and third place winners will be awarded medals. The overall contest winner of the “Best Performance” video will also receive free tickets for their family to the FHK Music end-of-year concert on June 7th, where their video will be showcased, and their identity revealed amidst applause!
