ACTIVITY INFOS
Group class for girls and boys level 3 years and up (logical continuation of the FHK Music curriculum for students who have completed the three-year fundamental music theory & history cycle. Also open to new students with a minimum of 3 years of musical experience).
Warm-up and technical work:
– Articulation, fingering, and positioning tutoring adapted to each instrument (strings, winds, percussion).
– Emphasis on posture, sound projection, and self-confidence of each musician.
– Rhythmic and synchronization exercises to refine the sense of tempo and ensemble.
Learning a varied repertoire (classical music, film music, pop standards) as a group, chosen with the students. The arrangements evolve from a simple melody to polyphonic parts.
Maintenance and reinforcement of the solfège level previously acquired. Addition of dedicated music history sessions (around the studied pieces).
Teamwork is cultivated through mutual listening, mutual aid, and group cohesion. A warm and benevolent atmosphere promotes the fulfillment of each person, without excessive pressure but with stimulating objectives.
Festive concerts twice a year allow sharing this diverse musical passion with the public. Ambition: to play pieces together, NEW: A SPECIAL STANLEY PLAZA CONCERT ON NOVEMBER 1st! (outside, on a stage!)
Option: possibility to take private lessons in parallel.
All instruments are provided (Group open to several pianists and all types of instruments).
